Situated right on the shores of the Rainbow Lagoon, with views of yachts moored in the harbor as well as views of the vast Pacific, the Hyatt Regency Long Beach is an emblem of Southern California’s classic cocktail of luxury and easy-breezy beachy charm. With 528 guest rooms, 22,000 square feet of dedicated event space, and stunning grounds, this hotel has everything you need to build the wedding of your dreams.
One of the perks of planning a hotel wedding is its all-inclusive benefits. You can book a block of rooms for out-of-town guests so that they can sleep just steps away from the spot where you’ll tie the knot. And you can book a suite or two for wedding prep and relax, be pampered, and make memories with your bridal party as you anticipate the moment you’ll say your vows. The 824-square-foot VIP Suite boasts chic, modern furnishings, views of the harbor or skyline, and free breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres for your entire party. The Royal or Palm Suites have between 780-900 square feet, both parlor and dining room space, and views of the lagoon and the harbor.
This venue has some beautiful outdoor spaces that serve as a lovely backdrop for some intimate couple’s photos. From the swaying palm trees on the hotel’s grounds, to the soaring mirrored building itself, to the shores of the harbor, there are a wealth of opportunities to take some time together on this monumental day and immortalize your love.
The above-listed spaces are also perfect for your wedding party photography. We at Lin and Jirsa would be honored to capture each moment and emotion of your joyous day, big and small, and create photo heirlooms that you’ll treasure for a lifetime. We have a wealth of experience photographing Indian weddings, as well as Chinese, Muslim, and Korean weddings. Whatever your heritage and traditions, we want to document the beauty of that heritage for you.
At the Hyatt Regency, you’ll create a magical, romantic ceremony right on the shores of the Rainbow Lagoon. Your guests will be swept away to paradise as you tie the knot with the calming waters and lush greenery that’s indigenous to the Los Angeles area behind you.
This venue has a number of opulent ballrooms available for you to host your reception in. You and your guests can dine, toast, and dance the night away under the chandeliers of the Beacon, Regency, or Seaview Ballrooms. The Beacon Ballroom is highly sought-after, with its entire wall of windows that overlook the harbor.
