The Hollywood Roosevelt is one of Southern California’s most iconic and historic hotels. First opened in 1927, the Hollywood Roosevelt is the oldest continually operating hotel in all of Los Angeles. It has undergone a series of renovations over the decades to be restored to its original Spanish Colonial splendor. With claim-to-fames such as housing Marilyn Monroe for two years early in her career and hosting the first-ever Academy Awards ceremony, the Hollywood Roosevelt is an original piece of Hollywood glamour and will be the perfect spot for your unforgettable wedding.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the Hollywood Roosevelt
The 12-story hotel with 300 guest rooms has 25,000 square feet of event space to choose from to plan the perfect wedding day. You can seat 150 guests in the Academy Room, with its vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook Hollywood Boulevard. Or the Blossom Ballroom, the site of the original Academy Awards ceremony in 1929, is a luxurious spot for both ceremony and reception, with its ornate restored ceiling work 25 feet above the ground, vintage tile work, and grand 10-foot doors. The Historic Lobby captures the historic Spanish Colonial charm of the Roosevelt with its arched doorways, stone columns, and paneled ceilings. It’s one of most sought-after venues for a wedding. Or, pictured below, you can choose to host your ceremony and/or reception on the Rooftop and dance the night away in the open air, right under the famous Roosevelt Hotel sign. This unrivaled space offers 360-degree views of Hollywood below, and can accommodate 150 guests. It also allows access to the 3,400 square-foot Gable and Lombard penthouse, named for Clark Gable and Carol Lombard, who would come and stay together in the suite for $5 per night.
There’s nothing like celebrating with all the people you love with that view in the background!
